Delete your account
You can delete your account from this page or from the Android app. Deletion cannot be undone.
What deletion ends
Your access key stops working and can no longer be exported, every session on every device is signed out, and your display name, preferences, history, API keys, and notification devices are removed. You lose access to your private mailboxes and to the mailboxes shared with you.
What stays
Mailboxes you made private stay private: nobody can open them by typing their address, and the people you shared them with keep their access. Public mailboxes are not tied to any account and are unaffected. Technical records kept against abuse (addresses, user agents, mailbox activity logs) are kept with no name attached.
From the Android app
Open the Settings tab, choose Delete account under Sign out, and confirm. The app signs out at once.
Delete this account
Restore your access key from the menu first, then come back to this page to delete the account it belongs to.
