How temporary email works
A disposable address keeps sign-up confirmations, newsletters, and one-time codes out of your personal inbox.
Pick an address
Generate a random address, or type your own prefix and choose one of the available domains.
Use it anywhere
Give the address to a sign-up form, a newsletter, or an app you don't fully trust.
Read emails instantly
New emails appear in the inbox in real time, attachments included, without reloading the page.
Public or private: you choose
A new mailbox is public: anyone who opens the same address can read its emails. Keep public mailboxes for throwaway sign-ups.
Make a mailbox private and only you and the people you share it with can read it. You can make it public again at any time.
No sign-up, just an access key
There is nothing to sign up for. A 16-digit access key restores your mailboxes in another browser or on another device. Export it and keep it somewhere safe: a lost access key cannot be recovered.
Built to limit tracking
Remote images, audio, and video in emails stay blocked until you allow them, so a tracking pixel cannot tell the sender that you opened the message. Email content is cleaned of scripts before it is displayed.
Common questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Creating addresses and receiving emails is free, with no sign-up and no personal details.
How long do emails stay in the mailbox?
Received emails stay in the mailbox. Attachment files are deleted after 15 days.
Can I send emails?
No. Addresses only receive emails.
When should I avoid a temporary email?
Never use a public mailbox for banking, important accounts, or anything you need to recover later: anyone who knows the address can read it. Make the mailbox private, or use your personal email.
